If you are local to Asheville, do you have a vehicle you’d be willing to drive, if needed, to help bring people to the sweat lodge? I’ll have my car to bring some of us, but we will need one more to drive others there and back that day. I believe that’s the only activity that would require driving. Gas money will be included!

Please read through this cancellation policy: Cancellations made between August 1st and September 1st will receive 25% of total registration funds. Cancellations made before August 1st will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after September 1st are non-refundable. If you book a shared twin bed room for the lower cost and no one else fills that room, you will not be charged the higher room rate. The lower cost will remain, even though you’ll have a private room. Refunds may take up 2-3 weeks to process and complete. The retreat host reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to venue issues, illness, political instability, natural disasters, acts of God, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond the host’s control. In such cases, any refunds issued shall be limited to payments received by the host and shall not include airfare, travel expenses, or other participant-incurred costs. You are strongly encouraged to purchase travel/cancellation insurance to cover any illness, injury or other emergency or situation that may prevent you from attending the retreat after booking. We strongly recommend that you purchase a policy that includes a “cancel for any reason” rider option. Typically, trip insurance must be purchased at or near the time of registration in order to qualify for full coverage benefits. This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, regardless of any conflict of law principles. I understand that participation in all retreat activities is voluntary and that I may choose not to participate in any activity at any time. I accept full responsibility for my decisions and participation throughout the retreat. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and expressly release, waive, and discharge Hannah Fowler, School of the Red Skywalker, retreat assistants, representatives, contractors, Carolina Mornings, and their respective owners, employees, agents, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, actions, causes of action, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the retreat, use of retreat facilities, accommodations, transportation, ceremonies, activities, or related events, except where prohibited by law. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hannah Fowler, School of the Red Skywalker, retreat assistants, representatives, Carolina Mornings, and their respective owners, employees, agents, and assigns from any claims, actions, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from my actions, conduct, or participation during the retreat. I represent that I am in sufficient physical, emotional, and mental health to participate safely in retreat activities and that I have no condition that would create an unreasonable risk of harm to myself or others. In the event of illness, injury, accident, or emergency during the retreat, I authorize Hannah Fowler, and/or retreat representatives, to arrange appropriate medical care on my behalf if I am unable to do so myself. I understand that I am solely responsible for all costs associated with medical care, transportation, evacuation, lodging, or related expenses. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings, travel documents, medications, valuables, and personal safety throughout the retreat and related travel. I understand that my registration and payment constitutes a commitment to participate in the retreat. If I choose to cancel prior to the retreat, refunds will be governed solely by the published cancellation policy. If I leave the retreat early or discontinue participation for any reason, refunds, transfers or credits will not be given. I agree to communicate concerns, discomforts, or conflicts directly and respectfully with the retreat host whenever possible so that supportive resolution may be attempted within the retreat container. I understand that portions of the retreat may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for archiving the experience. If Hannah is to use the contents beyond sharing with this group, she will ask for permission, and if I do not wish to appear in promotional media, I agree to notify Hannah Fowler when she asks. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Electronic Signatures: I agree that my electronic or digital signature shall have the same legal force and effect as an original handwritten signature, and I waive any right to challenge its validity. By signing, I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver, release of liability, and assumption of risk agreement. I understand its contents and voluntarily agree to its terms.
