  • FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

    SELF-ASSESSMENT
  • Being a leader worth following is a journey, and the best place to begin is with you.

When the roots are healthy, so is the fruit.

Scripture reminds us, “You can identify them by their fruit—that is, by the way they act” (Matthew 7:16, NLT). Simply put, fruit reveals what is truly at work beneath the surface. A transformed life—one that walks with and abides in the Holy Spirit—will bear visible evidence. The fruit of the Spirit is not about image or performance; it is the clearest proof of inward formation and ongoing surrender.

"The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22–23, NLT). These qualities reflect spiritual maturity and are cultivated over time through intentional growth and faithful obedience.

This assessment is designed to support that journey. Its purpose is to:

+ Identify areas of strength in character
+ Discover opportunities for character building
+ Provide insight into mental, emotional, and spiritual aptitudes
+ Help determine next steps for meaningful development

This assessment is most helpful when approached with a view of wholeness. As you respond, consider how you show up across different environments—family, work, ministry or business, social spaces, and times of rest. Growth begins with an honest view of the whole, not just one setting.
