Art in the Woods – Artist FAQ
What is Art in the Woods?
Art in the Woods is a juried outdoor art show hosted by the Chester County Art Association. This unique, one-day event will take place on Saturday, October 10th from 11 AM–4 PM.
How many artists will be selected?
A total of 80 artists will be selected to participate in the show.
What type of artwork can I submit?
Artists may showcase one original, ready-to-hang piece. Maximum dimensions are 24" x 36", and all artwork must be wired for hanging and available for sale. All mediums are accepted.
Who is elgible to apply for Art in the Woods? Any member of CCAA is welcome to apply to Art in the Woods. Membership allows you to apply for both Art in the Woods shows and Christkindlmarkt. The membership also allows you autormatic entry our two Member's Shows and $300 and Under. Memberships can be purchased online at chestercountyarts.org/memberships
What is the fee to be in Art in the Woods?
The fee is $30 per accepted artist. The fee must be paid prior to artwork dropoff.
What is the commission structure for sales?
Artists keep 100% of their sales — CCAA does not take any percentage.
When is artwork drop-off?
Accepted artists must drop off their work on Friday, October 9 between 2–6 PM at the Chester County Art Association.
What happens if it rains on Saturday, October 10? We will have the show inside in our galleries!
