TAL Participation Agreement & Community Guidelines
Our Commitment: At TAL: The Abilities Lounge, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every individual is respected, encouraged, and empowered to express themselves. Behavior Expectations: To ensure a positive experience for all participants: Participants must treat others, staff, and the space and equipment with respect and kindness. No bullying, aggressive, harmful, or unsafe behaviors (physical or verbal). Personal belongings and TAL equipment must be used appropriately at all times. Participants should follow staff guidance at all times for safety. TAL reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a participant’s behavior poses a safety risk to themselves, others, or the environment, or if policies are not being followed. Supervision & Support: TAL is a non-medical recreational space. Parents/guardians are required to remain on-site and responsible for their child at all times. Participants who require one-on-one (1:1) assistance must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated caregiver who will actively assist them with engagement in activities as needed.

Party Booking Agreement

By booking a party at The Abilities Lounge (TAL), the reserving parent/guardian acknowledges that they are responsible for the supervision, behavior, and well-being of all guests attending the event. TAL staff are present to facilitate activities and support the event experience but are not responsible for providing one-on-one supervision of guests.

The reserving parent/guardian agrees to communicate any relevant allergies, medical concerns, sensory needs, accommodations, or behavioral considerations prior to the event. Any damage to TAL property caused by guests may result in additional charges.

By completing this booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to TAL's party policies and understand that participation is at your own risk.

Waiver of Liability

I understand that participation in activities at TAL: The Abilities Lounge may/may not involve some level of risk. By signing this form, I agree to assume responsibility for the participant while engaging in activities and release TAL, its owners, and staff from liability for any injuries or incidents that may occur during participation.This facility uses video surveillance for safety and security. By entering, you consent to being recorded.
