Our Butterscotch Pie is a far cry from the butterscotch pudding you make from a box! We do have a version where we add Johnnie Walker Scotch, but for this version we skipped the alcohol. We simmer butter and brown sugar to get that deep caramel flavor, thicken it with the traditional egg yolks and cornstarch, and add a bit of vanilla extract. We pour this filling in an Oreo crumb crust top it off with whipped cream, a drizzle of our homemade Sea Salt Caramel, and include a baggie of Maldon sea salt flakes for you to sprinkle on at your discretion.
