🌽 Pedal Pageant 2026 and the Golden Spoke Award 🚲

Decorate a bike. Display it. Win bragging rights.

The Pedal Pageant is an annual community bike decorating contest celebrating Sweetcorn Festival and Tour de Corn Weekend. This is intended to be a fun, positive event that celebrates all of the great businesses and locations in our area and the creativity of our community.

Decorate a bicycle, tricycle, tandem, wagon bike, vintage bike, or bicycle-themed display and place it where the public can enjoy it.

Participation is FREE. Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Judging will occur June 26–27 by out-of-town judges. Winners will be announced Sunday, June 28, on the East Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. 🏆

Cash prizes will be awarded to businesses, residences, churches, and organizations across a number of categories.

The Grand Business Prize:

The new “Golden Spoke Award” (a Championship Trophy that will be etched each year with the winning business’ name). The trophy can be prominently displayed at the winning business or at the Chamber of Commerce office.
