The NEC does NOT allow outside shavings or bedding of any kind. A minimum of 2 NEC bags of shavings is required to be used for each horse stall. Please pre-order your shavings in the table below. Shavings are NOT returnable - so please do not order more than you need. Additional shavings can be purchased during the show.
If your horse requires certain shavings due to allergy restrictions, you can request an exemption from the NEC. Please have your veterinarian complete this form: https://thenationalequestriancenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Allergies-to-Shavings-Exemption-Form.pdf.
2026 NEC policy: MRSC must be notified by 8:00 PM on Friday Mar 27th, if you are unable to make it to the show and need to cancel your reservations. If you do not cancel by this time, you will be billed for the shavings you have requested. Cancellations should be submitted by using the Stall Cancellation Form on the website.
All horses must have a valid negative EIA (Coggins) within the past 12 months. All out of state horses must have a valid Health Certificate within the past 30 days.
