Eligibility Requirements

Candidates Must:
- Be enrolled and in good standing at the HBCU they represent
- Be the official and elected King or Queen for the HBCU they represent
- Participate in all conference and competition activities
- Have an institutionally appointed advisor or official in attendance
Registration & Fees

Included with Your Registration:
- Daily breakfast and lunch buffet.
- A conference t-shirt.
- A conference bag containing workshop materials, schedule, and additional items.
Note: Hotel accomodations are not included in registration. Institutions will be responsible for securing their own hotel rooms for their participants at the host hotel.

Registration Costs and Timeline for the 2027 Mister & Miss HBCU Leadership Conference and Competition:
- Early Bird Registration: July 18 to September 30, 2026 - $550
- Regular Registration: October 1 to December 20, 2026 - $650
- Late Registration: December 21, 2026 to January 8, 2027 - $750

Performance Guidelines
- Videos are not permitted for Talent or Oratory.
- Props are permitted for Talent only and are not permitted during the Oratory competition.
- Contestants are responsible for providing, transporting, and storing all props. The organization will not provide props, nor store props after the competition.

If your Talent performance includes music or audio, submit one (1) final MP3 file by January 15, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
