Team Evaluations – Important Information
Athletes must attend the evaluation session for their youngest eligible age group. If we would like to assess an athlete in an additional age division, we will contact you directly.
A one-off evaluation fee of £10 (cash only) is payable on the day of your athlete's evaluation. This fee is paid once, regardless of how many evaluation sessions or callbacks your athlete attends.
If your athlete is eligible for both the U16 and Senior age divisions, they should attend both evaluation sessions.
Age eligibility is determined by the athlete's birth year for the 2026/2027 competition season, with their competition age being the age they will be on 31st December 2027.
European Summit Team
Athletes wishing to be considered for our European Summit Team must also attend their standard age-appropriate evaluation session.
This will be an Elite Travel Team and will require 100% commitment to all scheduled training sessions, competitions, and travel commitments.
If offered a place, a £250 non-refundable deposit will be due alongside your club membership at the start of the season in Sept to secure the athlete's position. This fee includes the athlete's competition entry and a travel fee.
Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging and funding all travel and accommodation for the main event in Portugal. We strongly recommend researching the likely costs before evaluations to ensure this commitment is affordable.
The majority of athletes selected for this team will require front and back walkovers. However, a limited number of places may be available for athletes who are not yet tumbling at this level.
If you register your interest for the European Summit Team but we feel your athlete is not yet ready for consideration, we will contact you before evaluations.
Tumble Evaluations
Tumble evaluations are divided into Groups A, B, C, D and E.
Please watch the short demonstration videos below and select the group that best matches your current tumbling ability (not what you are working on). You must be able to show the skills confidently.
During your evaluation, you may also be asked to demonstrate skills from lower groups to allow our coaches to fully assess your technique, consistency and overall ability.
Team Offers
Team offers will be emailed no later than Sunday 19th July. Families will then have 72 hours to accept or decline their team placement.
Your team offer email will also include an updated Season Pack containing all the information you need for the 2026/27 season, including training schedules, financial commitments, important dates and class timetable.
Team Selection
When selecting teams, our coaching staff carefully consider each athlete's:
