Junior Software Developer for TowWorks, LLC. Application

Job Duties:

• Analyze user needs and financial software requirements within TowWorks marine platform to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Under senior supervision, develop, test, and document software modules for billing, accounting, transaction processing, and financial workflows using JavaScript, SQL.
• Confer with systems analysts, implementation teams, and marine operations stakeholders to design financial system features, obtain project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Modify existing financial software to correct errors, adapt to new integrations (e.g., TowWorks Boat Console), upgrade interfaces, or improve performance and security.
• Prepare reports or correspondence concerning financial module specifications, development activities, status, or testing outcomes.
• Analyze information from marine logistics and compliance data to recommend and plan modifications to existing financial systems or new feature installations.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate financial and operational data using SQL/databases to analyze system capabilities and requirements for TowWorks enhancements.
• Assist in designing, developing, and modifying financial software systems, applying analysis to measure outcomes for transaction accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Help determine system performance standards for financial modules, monitoring functionality to ensure conformance with marine industry specifications.
• Consult with project managers, support teams, or customers on financial software status, proposals, or technical issues such as design or maintenance.
