• 2026 ALH INSTRUCTOR / STUDENT EXHIBITION

    Deadline: Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 11:59pm
  • Please complete the following form to submit work for the 2026 ALH INSTRUCTOR / STUDENT Exhibition. Work must be submitted online through this form by July 12th to be included in marketing, printed material and artwork intake at Art League Houston.

  • Exhibition

    The 2026 ALH Instructor / Student Exhibition will be on view from Friday, July 31st through Sunday, September 6th. All work will remain on view until the close of the exhibition.


    Entries

    • Submission is limited to ONE artwork per student / instructor.
    • To be eligible, the student must have attended a course between Summer 2025 - Spring 2026.
    • No work will be accepted without an online submission by Sunday, July 12th.
    • List your name as you would like to be listed for all exhibition materials and event promotions. *Please double-check spelling before submitting*

     

    Artwork Images

    • Digital images of your work may be taken using cell phones.
    • ALH advises you to capture photos of your work using indirect light.
    • Please take photos of your work straight on at 90 degree angles.
    • Please title your image files (example: FirstNameLastName_ArtworkTitle.jpg)

    Artwork Drop-Off

    10 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Sunday, July 20 - 26

     

    Entries must be ready to hang/install and hand delivered to:

    Sales / Reproduction

    Unless marked NFS (Not For Sale), the Artist agrees to donate 30% of the gross sales price of any piece sold during the exhibition or as a result of the exhibition to Art League Houston. The Artist will receive 70% of the gross sales price of any piece sold during or as a result of the exhibition. Art League Houston reserves the right to reproduce included works in any press materials and on the ALH website.


    Media Specifications

    Work in any media is eligible, including jewelry and 3D works. Artwork should not exceed 36 inches in any dimensions (including frame). Artwork must be finished, dry, and ready to hang (including hardware when applicable) upon arrival.


    Presentation

    All works on paper MUST be framed. No unframed work will be accepted. Sensitive material should be framed under acrylic or Plexiglas. No works framed under traditional glass will be accepted.

  • ARTIST AGREEMENT - PLEASE READ:

    • The artist acknowledges and agrees that submitted artwork may be featured in public promotions for the event. All information submitted through this form will be considered final for use on the event websites as well as in promotional materials.

     

    • ALH will process all art sales. Artist shares of sales will be processed 30 days from the end of the exhibition and mailed to the address listed above.

     

    • The artist agrees to deliver artwork for the in-person exhibition to the ALH building at a time arranged between ALH staff and the artist (10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday, July 20 through Sunday, July 26). Artwork not delivered during the agreed upon timeframe will not be included in the exhibition.

     

    • The artist agrees to hold work submitted for this exhibition and not sell it on another platform during the course of the 2026 ALH Instructor / Student Exhibition. Artwork must remain on view in the gallery from July 31 - September 6, 2026. The artist agrees to pick up any unsold artwork within a week of the exhibition close date.

     

    • Unless marked NFS (Not For Sale), the Artist agrees to donate 30% of the gross sales price of any piece sold during the exhibition or as a result of the exhibition to Art League Houston.     • Unless the artwork is sold, the artist agrees to pick up their work between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday, September 8 - Sunday, September 13, 2026. Artwork not collected by 5 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2026, becomes the physical property of ALH. No exceptions.

     

    • If a work sells, the artist will receive a check to the address provided in this submission within 30 days of the event close date. Art League Houston is not responsible for lost or damaged artwork.
