Those applying are applying for the title of Miss Fjord Folk Fest (Formerly Miss Norsk Høstfest) a preliminary to the Miss North Dakota Scholarship Competition. Applicants must be a North Dakota resident or student between the ages of 17-27 years old (no older than 28 as of Sept 30, 2026), of Scandinavian decent, and available for the entirety of the festival to be held in Minot, ND on August 21st & 22nd, 2026. Competition date is set for Saturday August 15th 2026 in Minot, ND
