Agreement for Funding (Please read and sign below)
Introduction
The Henderson Tourist Commission (HTC) administers funds collected from a three percent (3%) transient tax on occupied transient lodging sales, specifically taxes received from lodging facilities in Henderson County including motels, hotels, cabins, and bed & breakfasts. In compliance with KRS 91A.350, the funds are for the sole purpose of promoting convention and tourist activity.
The Henderson Tourist Commission has designated a portion of its budget to a grant program designed to aid special events and projects in Henderson County that promote tourism. The primary purpose of this grant is to increase hotel/motel/short term rental overnight visitation and to enhance the visitor experience in Henderson County.
This application is for events scheduled between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
