Competition Weight PLEASE NOTE: although it is normal for body weight to reduce during a fight camp, please note that water cutting is expressly forbidden under AFA rules and regulations. Anyone found to be doing a water cut will be disqualified. We’d like to encourage everyone to stay healthy, hydrated and fueled during training. We also request that you openly communicate with our team if a projected reduction in weight isn’t going as planned. This will allow us time to communicate with other teams and the pool of competitors to safely find matchups for everyone.
