    With plenty of space to explore, new scents to discover, and fresh country air to enjoy, these outings provide a fun change of scenery and an enriching break from their daily routine. Every walk is guided at your dog's pace, allowing them to sniff, wander, and experience the world the way dogs naturally love to.

    Whether they're an enthusiastic explorer or simply enjoy taking it all in, Sensory Field Walks offer a safe, supervised outing that's as enjoyable as it is enriching.

    Meet James from Northwest Dog Training Academy. As the leader of our Sensory Field Walks, James creates enjoyable, enriching outings that give dogs the opportunity to get out, explore, and experience something different. Whether it's following an interesting scent, taking in the fresh country air, or simply enjoying time outside, each walk is designed to let dogs be dogs.With a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of canine behaviour, James provides safe, supervised walks that are tailored to each dog's comfort level and personality. Some dogs are eager explorers, while others prefer a slower pace—and that's perfectly okay.Our Sensory Field Walks take place right here on our beautiful country property, giving dogs a chance to enjoy a change of scenery, stretch their legs, and satisfy their natural curiosity in a safe and familiar environment.At Black Walnut, we believe every dog deserves somewhere to go.More Than a Walk.   • Consent I authorize Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club and Northwest Dog Training Academy to provide dog walking services for my dog(s) through the Dog Walks With Purpose program. I confirm that my dog is in good health, physically able to participate in walks and outdoor activities, and is current on all required vaccinations. Assumption of Risk I understand that Dog Walks With Purpose may take place in wooded areas, fields, trails, and other natural outdoor environments. I acknowledge that participation in these activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, changing weather conditions, wildlife encounters, exposure to plants and insects, interactions with other animals or people, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club and Northwest Dog Training Academy. I acknowledge that, despite reasonable precautions being taken, dogs may slip out of or escape from collars, harnesses, leashes, or other walking equipment. I understand that Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club and Northwest Dog Training Academy cannot guarantee that a dog will not escape and shall not be held liable for incidents resulting from a dog escaping from properly fitted equipment, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my dog's participation in these activities. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club, Northwest Dog Training Academy, their owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my dog's participation in the Dog Walks With Purpose program, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Emergency Care In the event of an emergency, I authorize Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club and/or Northwest Dog Training Academy to seek veterinary care for my dog if I cannot be reached. I understand that all veterinary expenses incurred on behalf of my dog are my responsibility. If I cannot be reached, I authorize emergency veterinary treatment up to a maximum of $500. Any treatment expected to exceed this amount will require my authorization whenever reasonably possible. Black Walnut Kennel & Country Club and Northwest Dog Training Academy are not authorized to approve veterinary treatment exceeding $500 without my consent and shall not be held liable for any delays, complications, or outcomes resulting from the inability to obtain such consent.
