    The Snowy Valleys Cycle Challenge Short Film Competition invites aspiring filmmakers, students, cyclists and community members to capture the spirit of cycling through the lens of a smartphone or similar device.

    This year's theme, "Life on Two Wheels," celebrates cycling, movement, adventure, community and the stunning landscapes of the Snowy Valleys. Whether it's a thrilling ride, a personal journey, a local story, or a creative interpretation of life on a bike, we want to see your unique perspective.

    Selected films will be screened as part of the Snowy Valleys Cycle Challenge weekend, with finalists showcased at the historic Montreal Theatre in Tumut on Saturday 26 September 2026.

    Primary School (K–6)  1st Place – $75
    Highly Commended
    High School (Years 7–12) 1st Place – $150
    Highly Commended
    Open Community Category 1st Place – $200
    Highly Commended
    People's Choice Award Hamper of local goods to the value of $200
