Early Years Teacher

West Wimmera Shire Council has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to lead the delivery of a high-quality educational program for the 4-year-old Kindergarten program at our Edenhope Early Childhood Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, dedicated team of educators in a well-resourced service located in a welcoming rural community.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
A thorough understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Child Safe Standards, with proven experience implementing these frameworks in practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
• A minimum Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification).
• Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
This role is best suited to candidates with established experience.

This position is offered on a part-time basis, with 24 hours per week.
