Welcome to the 2026 Winter Boulder League!
This is a three round league, where you are scored based on the number of climbs you complete. The fourth round is a standalone finals based on your performance from the previous 3 rounds* (Nov/Inters only, 17+).
Scores must be finalised and submitted by Sunday 28th of June, 7pm to count! Late submissions will not be counted.
Rules and Guidelines
Start: Starts are marked with tape/tags and require four points of contact (hands/feet). Climbers must be in control before moving.
Control means holding a stable position for 3 seconds.
French starts (using momentum of getting on the wall to move from the start holds to the next holds) are invalid.
An attempt begins as soon as a foot leaves the ground; hops also count as attempts.
Finish: Two hands in control on the tagged Finish hold.
A Send means finishing a boulder in any number of attempts, and will give 5 points.
A Flash means finishing a boulder on your first attempt, will give you +1 extra point.
Using Volumes & Tape
- Grey volumes are always “in” and may be used on any climb.
- Coloured volumes (other than grey) are set for specific climbs. Coloured Volumes can be used for that climb only.
- Bolt holes in walls are not allowed to be used by fingers as climbing holds.
- Black tape marks the boundary of a climb. Any contact on or past the tape will count as a failed attempt.
Scores will be tallied at the end of each round.
Scores must be finalised and submitted by Sunday 28th of June, 7pm to count! Late submissions will not be counted.
