This July, step into a close-up encounter with a classic silent-film world reimagined through the raw power of the body - the Metropolis March On!
Presented by OWN THEATRE, the Acro Physical Theatre Performer Training Programme began last October. Over the past nine months, more than ten participants from Macau’s sports, dance, gymnastics and stilt-walking communities, together with adventurous newcomers, have gone through nearly 70 sessions of physical training, skill-building and creative exploration.
For this second-stage showcase, they will bring together juggling, stilts, acrobatics and aerial hoop to reinterpret the century-old silent film classic Metropolis through movement, rhythm, height and physical imagination.
