Professional Conduct & Termination Policy
To maintain professional, respectful, and effective service delivery, Section 8 Consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate services at its discretion when continued services is no longer appropriate, productive, or feasible.
Services may be terminated for reasons including, but not limited to:
• Service Scope Exceeded
Requests that exceed the scope, limits, or nature of services offered.
• Missed Appointments & Non-Participation
Repeated missed appointments, late cancellations, failure to attend scheduled consultations, or failure to provide reasonable notice resulting in loss of scheduled service time.
• Communication Issues
Failure to maintain reliable communication methods, including unavailable voicemail, full voicemail boxes, incorrect contact information, or repeated inability to reach the client.
• Interference With Service Delivery
Attempts to direct, control, alter, micromanage, or require services outside established procedures, policies, or professional boundaries.
• Unprofessional or Disrespectful Conduct
Use of hostile, disrespectful, abusive, condescending, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate language or behavior toward staff.
• Misrepresentation or Dishonesty
Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or intentionally deceptive information that interferes with service delivery.
• Conduct Preventing Effective Services
Behavior that disrupts the working relationship, creates unreasonable administrative burden, prevents progress, or otherwise makes continued services impractical.
Section 8 Consulting is committed to providing professional consulting, research support, and administrative guidance in a respectful and efficient environment. When these standards cannot be reasonably maintained, services may be concluded without further obligation to continue casework.
