    • 1st grade begins sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion. Students will receive those sacraments in 2nd grade. 7th grade begins sacramental preparation for Confirmation. Students will receive their Confirmation in the spring of 8th grade. Two consecutive years in Religious Education are required by the Diocese in order to receive the sacraments.

    • BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES NEEDED: If your child(ren) were not baptized at St. Mary’s we will need baptismal certificates for our records. If you turned in a certificate last year we have it on file, but if not please turn in a copy.

    • Fees will be $225 for one child, $300 for two children, $375 for three children, $400 for four or more.

    • Forms and payments can be dropped off at the parish office Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm and Fridays from 8am-12pm.

    • Please bring the forms and payments inside and hand them to a staff member. If no one is there, then you may place in the  RE Box on the porch.

    • Payments can be made online here: https://osvhub.com/stmarysminooka/giving/funds under the Religious Education tuition tab. Checks are also accepted and can be made out to St. Mary’s Church.

    • The main form of communication from the Director will be via email and through Constant Contact. Please double check that you have listed the best email to reach your family.

    3. Full payment is made or payment plan is set up. (Financial assistance is available)
    4. Fill out and turn in the Diocese of Joliet Permission/Medical form for each child
