Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy
Thank you for choosing Star Equestrians! To ensure the highest quality experience, personalized instruction, and hands-on care, attendance in The Mane Event and the Women’s Level Up Club is strictly limited based on available horses and facilities.
Because space is limited and our summer programs run on a fixed schedule (bi-weekly through the end of August), we strictly enforce the following policy:
1. Refund Policy & Notice Requirements
3-Week Written/Phone Notice Required: Full refunds are granted only if requested by directly speaking with our team via phone at (814) 749-9690 at least three (3) weeks (21 days) prior to your scheduled class date.
Non-Refundable Window: Due to the limited availability of slots and the preparation required for each participant, cancellations made fewer than 21 days prior to the start of the session are 100% non-refundable.
Unattended Sessions ("No-Shows"): Forgetting a scheduled session, duling conflicts ("something came up") will result in a forfeiture of all fees. Refunds will not be issued under these circumstances.
2. Emergency Rescheduling
We understand that true emergencies happen. We consider emergencies to be limited to medical crises, severe illness, or a death in the family.
Eligibility: Emergency rescheduling requests must be submitted as soon as reasonably possible prior to the event.
Subject to Availability: Rescheduling is not guaranteed. Because our program runs on a strict bi-weekly schedule ending in late August, alternative slots are extremely limited.
First-Come, First-Served: Any eligible emergency reschedule will be accommodated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to horse and class availability.
Inability to Reschedule: If an emergency prevents your attendance and no available slots remain in the current season, tuition fees remain non-refundable due to the costs incurred and the inability to fill the vacant spot on short notice.
3. Program/Weather Cancellations by Management
If Star Equestrians must cancel a session due to severe weather, facility issues, or animal welfare considerations, participants will be offered a makeup date. If the farm is unable to provide a makeup option before the season ends, a pro-rated refund or account credit for the cancelled session will be issued.
