Service Technician / Powersports Mechanic

Position Summary
East American Motorsports is looking for a well-rounded individual who enjoys working with machines and interacting with customers. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining new and used Polaris vehicles while also assisting customers with troubleshooting, service recommendations, and occasional sales support. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using computers, and enjoys being part of a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain new and used Polaris units.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and equipment setup.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Utilize computer-based diagnostic and service software.
Communicate with customers regarding repairs, maintenance needs, and product operation.
Assist the sales team with customer questions, product demonstrations, and unit delivery preparation.
Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe.
Provide excellent customer service while representing the East American Motorsports brand.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Preferred Experience
Powersports, automotive, agricultural, diesel, or small engine repair experience.
Customer service or retail experience.
Familiarity with Polaris products is a plus but not required.
Compensation
Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
