However, HUD has not yet provided comprehensive implementation guidance regarding how these requirements apply to specific CDBG activities or the procedures grantees and subrecipients must follow. Accordingly, the City is monitoring developments and awaiting additional guidance from HUD before implementing any new immigration verification requirements. Applicants and subrecipients should be aware that program requirements may change if HUD issues further direction, and compliance with any applicable federal requirements will be required as a condition of receiving CDBG funds.
