Welcome to the FVSU Homecoming Author's Corner!
The Alumni Authors Corner offers alumni authors a unique opportunity to showcase, promote, and sell their published works during Homecoming Yard Fest. Authors may choose to reserve their own space to meet attendees, sign books, and personally promote and sell their publications, or they may place their books in the Alumni Authors Tent Store, where they will be professionally displayed for purchase. Dedicated volunteers will assist with sales and distribution, allowing authors to participate even if they are unable to staff a table or who wish to enjoy other festivities during the Yard Fest.
EVENT DATE/TIME: October 23, 2026, 12 pm - 4 pm (set-up begins at 10 am)
LOCATION: FVSU Campus Open Green Space
VENDOR FEE: $50.00
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Authors are responsible for bringing their own table, tents, and display materials (2 chairs will be provided), along with a QR code created by the Author for sales.
- If you prefer not to set up your own table, you are welcome to display your books in our Authors' Corner tent store. Attendees may purchase books using a QR code created by the Author for sales, and dedicated volunteers will oversee sales and assist with distribution throughout the event.
- Spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Only published books and literary materials may be sold in the Author's Corner.
- No Cash or Credit Card transactions are allowed. Sales via QR code only.
- Registration is not complete until payment is received.
