JC Sunshine Childcare 2026–2027 Holiday & Closure Calendar

Closures:
• New Year’s Day — Thursday, January 1, 2026

• Presidents’ Day — Monday, February 16, 2026

• Easter Monday — Monday, April 6, 2026

• Memorial Day — Monday, May 25, 2026

• Professional development (closed) — Wednesday, July 28, 2026

• Tentative professional development (closed) — Friday, August 28 2026

• Labor Day — Monday, September 7 2026

• Vacation — Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 18, 2026

• Indigenous People’s Day — Monday, October 12, 2026

• Thanksgiving Break — Thursday and Friday, November 26–27 2026

• Winter Break — Monday, December 21 through Friday, December 25, 2026

New Year's Eve we will be closing at 3pm and be closed on 1/1/2027.

July Early Closure Notice:
In July, we will be closing early at 4:00 PM on July 24, July 27 due to professional development training.

Early Drop-Off Policy:
Early drop-off will only be available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (6am-8am) and is limited to two children.

Provider Vacation Notice:
Provider may take two weeks of vacation per year, with at least four weeks’ notice provided to families in advance.

Additional Closures:
Professional development/training days will be communicated in advance. Emergency closures may occur and families will be notified as early as possible.

I understand that JC Sunshine Childcare may receive childcare subsidy payments from ACS/HRA on behalf of my child.

I agree to pay my assigned ACS/HRA parent fee weekly.

I agree to pay any balance or difference not covered by ACS/HRA.

I agree to complete all ACS/HRA recertifications and paperwork on time.

I understand I am financially responsible if my ACS/HRA case is delayed, reduced, closed, or denied.

I understand I am financially responsible if ACS/HRA does not pay because of attendance, paperwork, eligibility, or caseworker delays.

I understand that if ACS/HRA stops paying for any reason, I am responsible for paying the full private weekly tuition immediately. I also understand that failure to pay may result in childcare services being stopped or terminated.
