  • Every Tuesday Bike & Scooter Day-All Campers

    Our Campers will have the opportunity to practise and gain skill riding bikes and scooters every Tuesday. All children MUST HAVE a helmet and their own bike or scooter to participate. 

    *K's Parking is to the right of the walkway in the Little Yard

    *1st & Up: Bike & Scooter Parking, Under the solar panels by the field in the Big Yard

    Prohibited: Electric scooters or sharing rides

    K's will ride in the little yard.

  • WOODLANDS CABANA CLUB SWIMMING

    2ND GRADE & UP TUESDAY'S & FRIDAYS

    12:30 pm-3:30 pm*

    SWIM SIGN-UPS WILL OCCUR THE DAY OF SWIM (Tuesday and Friday).

    We will have a small table by the building entrance for you to sign your child up for swim.

    If you child does not make the swim list (total of 36 children per day) they will automatically be added to the next swim day

    *Children will be tested their first time with us at the pool.

    *CHILDREN MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM THE WIDTH OF THE POOL AND BACK, PLUS TREAD WATER FOR 3 SECONDS. 

    *The Cabana Club Lifeguards & our VVCC Staff will test your child's swim skills. If your child can not pass the test, they will not be able to swim, and they will have the option to return to the Center or stay at the pool to watch.

    We encourage swim lessions and we welcome children to retest at any time.  

    *Children need a swimsuit, towel, goggles (if necessary) and an extra snack. We will serve snack at the pool at 3:15 pm but many children are hungry before that.

    VVCC RUNS A 1 ADULT TO 6 CHILD RATIO AT THE POOL. ALL STAFF ARE PEDIATRIC CPR CERTIFIED AND WATER SAFETY TRAINED.

    *THERE IS NO DROP-OFF OR PICK-UP FROM THE POOL.

    Sunscreen is applied before we leave for the pool and at rest time

    Children may have swim lessons scheduled during our time at the pool.

    THIS FORM MUST BE SIGNED OR YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND 

    *Each child recieves a VVCC T-shirt to wear on Field Trips, if your child does not have their t-shirt, your account will be charged $10 for a T-shirt loaner

  • Children going into 2nd Grade and up may attend Field Trips


    My child, has my permission to attend this weeks VVCC fieldtrip.

    For Safety: there is no drop off or pick up from Field Trips.

    • In the event of illness or injury I do hereby consent to whatever ex-ray, examination, anesthetic, medical, surgery, or dental diagnosis or treatment and hospital care considered necessary in the best judgement of the attending physician, surgeon, or dentist and performed by or under the supervision of a member of the medical staff or the hospital or facility furnishing medical or dental services.
    • In consideration of my child's participation in the Valle Verde Children's Center summer program I voluntarily release the Valle Verde Children's Center, it's officers, agents, employees and volunteers from any and all liability for injuries or death, property damage resulting from or in any way connected with my child's participation in these activities.
    • I fully understand that participants are to abide by all rules and regulations governing conduct during the field trips. Any violation of these rules and regulations may result in that individual being sent home at his or her expense.
