2026 Construction Safety Award of Merit

This award recognizes an individual’s dedication and outstanding contribution to safety and health in Manitoba's construction industry. This award is for any individual working for a construction company, including, but not limited to, those employed in safety-specific roles (e.g. safety officer, safety advisor, NCSO®, etc.).

Candidates must meet specific criteria:

Candidates must be employed with an automatic member of the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM).
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all workers through the identification, communication, and control of hazards.
Candidates must demonstrate a focus on safety and health and act as an advocate to fellow workers.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. All submission information will be held in the strictest confidence. Award recipients are selected by CSAM’s awards selection committee. CSAM thanks all those who submit nominations, however, only the nominee selected as the award recipient and their nominator will be contacted.

The Construction Safety Award of Merit winner will be recognized at the annual Safetys gala. The gala will take place November 4, 2026 at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre. More details will be available soon at www.thesafetys.ca.
