The Virginia Chess Federation (VCF) thanks you for your interest and participation in our tournament!  Registering and paying in advance saves you time, allowing you to avoid the "last minute line" at the tournament site.  See detailed tournament info at www.vachess.org 

TO REGISTER:  Fill out the form below and submit payment using the secure PayPal payment website.   You can either use your Credit Card or your PayPal account.  Required information is indicated with a red asterix (*).  Registration is complete and your information is submitted to tournament organizers as soon as your PayPal payment is processed.

Entry fee is $95 online through Saturday Oct 17th, increases to $110 on Sunday Oct 18th. Increases again to $125 on Thursday Oct 22nd and at the tournament. Blitz Entry Fee is $35, then $40, then $45 by the same schedule as the main event fees. On-Site Registration (at the event hotel) will be open 4-6:15PM Friday evening and then from 7:30-9:15AM on Saturday morning. Entries received after 9:15 on Saturday may be required to wait for Round 2 to play.

Round 1 of the Main Tournament starts at 10 AM SHARP on Saturday Oct 24th!!
Round 1 of Blitz is at 7 PM on Friday evening, Oct 23rd!

Chess Sets and clocks will be provided by the VA Chess Federation, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Your clock must be INCREMENT-CAPABLE!  

This tournament is US Chess-rated, which means that players must be members of the U.S. Chess Federation to play. US Chess membership is available on-site--cash, check or credit cards accepted.  Virginia Residents are required to be members of the VA Chess Federation (VCF), these memberships also are available on site or as part of signing up for the tournament.
