2026 AUXILIARY MORNING TEA: VOLUNTEER REGISTER

To help deliver the 2026 Auxiliary Morning Tea, Trinity College humbly asks for volunteer support. Please see below a list of opportunities to help out.

Each opportunity requires a certain number of volunteers (indicated per item below) to ensure successful delivery. If a volunteering opportunity is full, your details will be added to the waitlist for that timeframe.

Note: the highest points of need are 'food preparation & final set-up', and 'pack-down'.

SET-UP OF GIBNEY HALL
THIS VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY IS NOW FULL
Thursday 30 July, 12.30pm - 3.05pm
10-12x volunteers requested
- arranging tables and chairs
- setting the tables (crockery, glassware, etc)
- kitchen supply set-up
- putting on chair covers/sashes
- putting together prize hampers
- taking delivery of donated food (minimal)
- other, as required

 

FOOD PREPARATION & FINAL SET-UP (*high priority)
Friday 31 July, 7.30am - 10.00am
10-12x volunteers requested
- taking delivery of donated food (majority donated at this time)
- preparing and heating of donated/arranged food
- final set-up (hot water jugs, milk, sauce, etc)
- other, as required

 

SERVICE & KITCHEN SUPPORT
Friday 31 July, 10.00am - 12.00pm
6-8x volunteers requested
- supporting Auxiliary Kitchen Coordinator, as required
- providing guidance to servers (Year 10 students)
- light pack-down/cleaning duties towards end-of-event, as required
- other, as required

 

PACK-DOWN (*high priority)
Friday 31 July, 12.00pm - approx 2.30pm
12-16x volunteers requested
- collation and return of all crockery/glassware (etc) items to kitchen
- washing (using industrial dishwasher)/drying/packing away of items
- general rubbish disposal
- table linens to washing baskets
- consolidation of leftover food
- other, as required
