Spartans Centennial Tournament

A fun, high-energy 5v5 soccer tournament for ages 7–13

 

The Spartans Centennial Tournament brings local teams together for a positive, competitive weekend at Washago Centennial Park. Every team plays the same number of games in a round-robin format — no early eliminations. All players receive medals and custom team shirts, and final placements are celebrated together at the end of each day.

Program Type: Co-ed – all players welcome regardless of gender or experience level

Group Size: 4 teams per age group (Limited Spots!)

 

What’s Included

Custom Spartans team shirt with your player’s chosen number

3 games per team (full round-robin)

Medals for every player (different medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place)

Certified referees

Positive, energetic atmosphere with on-site merch

 

Schedule

Saturday – Ages 7–9 (U9)

Sunday – Ages 10–13 (U13)

 

Daily Flow

8:30 AM – Check-In & Warm-Up

9:00 AM – Round-Robin Matches Begin (two games at once)

11:30 AM – Lunch & Break

12:15 PM – Round-Robin Continues

2:00 PM – Final Matches & Standings

2:30 PM – Awards Ceremony (medals + team photos)

 

Expected finish time each day: Approximately 3:00 PM

Match Format & Rules

Match duration: 2 × 20 minutes

Format: 5v5 (goalie + 4 field players)

Round-robin format — every team plays every other team once

Final team placements based on points and tiebreakers

 

Registration Fee: $45 per player Early Bird

Payments: Handled directly by Coach Sam (e-transfer)

 

Policies

Commitment: Players should attend the full day for their age group.

Equipment: Cleats or running shoes suitable for grass. Shin guards recommended.

Uniforms: Every player must wear their custom Spartans team shirt.

Discipline: Zero tolerance for disrespect, rough play, or inappropriate language toward players, coaches, or volunteers.

Refunds: No refunds after registration closes.

Weather Issues: Sessions will only be cancelled in case of unsafe weather (thunderstorms/lightning).

Safety: Any suspected concussion or injury must be reported immediately.

Photography & Media: Unless otherwise indicated on the registration form, player photos and videos may be used for promotional or social media purposes.

We love sharing moments of teamwork, skill, and fun through photos and videos captured during tournament sessions and events. These highlights may be shared on our official Simcoe Muskoka Soccer social media platforms, website, and other promotional materials to showcase our community and inspire others.

Please review the consent section below to let us know if we have permission to include your child in these features.

 

CONFIRM

I grant permission to Simcoe Spartans (under Simcoe Muskoka Soccer) to take and use photos and/or videos of my child during tournament sessions and events for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and printed materials. I understand that no personal information will be shared without explicit consent and that I may revoke this permission at any time in writing.

 

CONFIRM

I understand that participation in the Simcoe Spartans tournament involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury. I release Simcoe Spartans, Simcoe Muskoka Soccer, it's organizers, coaches, volunteers, and facilities from any liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained during training activities. I accept full responsibility for any medical expenses that may arise from such injuries and confirm that my child is physically able to participate in outdoor soccer.
