Terms and conditions
Please read each term and condition carefully. It is the responsibility of the person completing the form to ensure all conditions are met. Norths Rugby Club takes no responsibility should you provide false information.
1. Submission of this form does not guarantee a place in the tournament. You will receive an email to advise if your nomination is successful by 27 July 2026. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid by all players (or a collective payment on behalf of the team) within 7 days of notification or your spot will be given to the next team on the waiting list.
2. All teams must comply with the competition rules sent out by the competition manager prior to the start of the Festival.
3. Each Volunteer (including coaches and managers) must hold a current working with children/blue card. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that each person required to hold a working with children/blue card provides a copy to the Team Manager.
4. All participants under the age of 18 years have permission to be photographed and/or videoed. This can be used for any purpose deemed appropriate by Norths Rugby Club and/or the River City 10’s Youth Rugby Festival organising committee including advertising on social media, newspaper articles, websites and media releases, or general social media content. If a child does not have permission to be photographed or videoed, it is my responsibility to inform Norths Rugby Club of who the child is.
5. All team staff are correctly accredited via Rugby Xplorer prior to the commencement of the Festival.
6. All teams agree to comply with the following policies:
a. Rugby Australia’s Size-For-Age Guidelines in registering players to each team. Norths Rugby Club reserves the right to conduct weigh-ins or measurements upon entry to the Festival and to prohibit players participating if they exceed the weight and height restrictions for the age group they have been nominated to play in and have not met the requirements of Rugby Australia’s Player Dispensation Guidelines.

7. I am aware that by completing this “Expression of Interest” I am committing to the entry of the team/s and the entry fee to be paid in full. If a team does not meet their financial obligations they will be removed from the Festival and the Friday Night 10s series.
8. Any trial matches organised by teams must be sanctioned by QRU and Rugby Australia. Conduct outside the Festival or the River City 10s series is the responsibility of the team organiser.
9. Norths Rugby Club reserves the right to reject the Expression of Interest if there is insufficient interest in an age / gender group to organise a suitable competition (e.g. if only one team expresses interest in a particular age group).
I agree that if a team is withdrawn within 30 days of the commencement date of the Festival, the deposit will be void and retained by Norths Rugby Club to cover competition variation costs.
