These Rules and Guidelines have been established to create a market that offers local produce and products directly from the producer to the consumer. Please keep a copy for your records. 1. General Information:
- Dates: June 27th - JULY 11th - JULY 25th - AUGUST 8th
- Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM or 5:00pm - 8:00PM
- Location: Sidewalk along 32 S. Ludlow Street
- The market operates rain or shine
2. Vendor Registration:
- Complete the 6888 Marketplace vendor application
- Vendors will be notified afterwards
- Choose monthly or full season
A contract is not considered valid unless accompanied by the respective vendor fee. Contracts and vendor fees (payable by check or money order only) may be dropped off at the 6888 Kitchen Incubator black mailbox mounted on the wall. OH Taste 32 S. Ludlow Street. 3. Booth Information:
- Limited to seven vendor spots
- A standard booth is 10’ X 10’
- No “open trunk” sales will be permitted.
- No stakes may be driven into the ground or parking lot surface.
- Popup and banner signage is permitted but must be free standing or attached to your own tent or table. Nothing may be hung from wall or windows.
- Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs, and displays
4. Set-up Guidelines:
Set-up time: 9:30 AM - 11:45 AM each Saturday
All booths must be ready by 11:45 AM
Vehicles may be used for unloading but must be moved by 11:00 AM
Check in with the market coordinator upon arrival
Vendors are responsible for their own set-up equipment (tents, tables, chairs, etc.)
5. Breakdown Guidelines:
- Breakdown begins at 4:00 PM or 8:00 PM sharp (depending on what hours you signed up for)
- Complete breakdown and clean-up by 4:00 PM or 8:00 PM (depending on what hours you signed up for)
- Ensure your area is clean and free of debris
- Do not begin the breakdown before 4:00 PM or 8:00PM
6. Product Guidelines:
- Focus on fresh produce and packaged food items
- All products must comply with local health regulations
- Clearly label all items with prices; declare any and all allergens
7. Operations:
- Booths must be staffed at all times during market hours
- Bring sufficient change and payment processing methods; extra cash is not kept on hand - Comply with all applicable tax laws
8. Weather Policy:
- The market operates rain or shine
- In case of severe weather, follow instructions from market coordinators
9. Conduct:
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
- Respect fellow vendors and customers
- No smoking in the market area
10. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Secure tents and displays properly
- Report any safety concerns to market staff immediately
11. Cancellation Policy:
- Notify market coordinators at least 48 hours in advance if unable to attend
- Repeated no-shows may result in forfeiture of vendor spot
12. Utilities:
- No electricity will be provided
- Bring your own water if needed
13. Parking:
- After unloading, vendors must park their vehicles in designated areas away from the market space -Vendors are responsible for following all local parking regulations
-Do not block sidewalks, fire lanes, alleys or customer parking areas
14. Advertising:
- Vendors are encouraged to promote their participation on social media
- Use the hashtag #6888SummerMarketplace in posts
15. Additional Opportunities:
- Vendors interested in featuring packaged food items in the 6888 retail store should complete the separate 6888 Retail store interest form

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned vendor, have read, understand, and agree to abide by the guidelines and rules set forth for the 6888 Summer Marketplace. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the 6888 Summer Marketplace, I hereby agree to the following:
1. Liability Waiver: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and forever discharge OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively referred to as "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, while participating in the 6888 Summer Marketplace.
2. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in the 6888 Summer Marketplace, whether caused by negligence of Releasees or otherwise.
3. Insurance: I understand that any commercial liability insurance provided by OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator does not cover vendors as individuals. If I am required to be insured or desire insurance coverage, I am solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining such insurance.
4. Property Responsibility: I acknowledge that OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator assumes no liability for damages to goods or property of the vendor from fire, theft, water, storm, or any other cause. I am solely responsible for the security and safekeeping of my property.
5. Marketing: I understand that while OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator may provide general marketing for the event, I am responsible for marketing my own products and services.
6. Payment and Refunds: I understand that my vendor spot is not confirmed until the respective vendor fee is paid. In the event that I fail to attend the event for any reason, I will not receive a refund, and my spot will not be held over to the next event. In case of a force majeure event, I may be subject to a partial refund at the discretion of OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator.
7. Rule Changes: I acknowledge that the rules and guidelines of this agreement may change, and I will be notified of any such changes.
8. Compliance: I agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances related to my participation in the 6888 Summer Marketplace.
9. Image Release: I grant OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator the right to use my name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made on behalf of the 6888 Summer Marketplace activities. I agree that OH Taste Foundation dba 6888 Kitchen Incubator has complete ownership of such material and can use it for any purpose consistent with their mission.
10. Severability: If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
