A core part of Draíocht’s Sensory Friendly programming is Create Dance, a fun, innovative dance project, where our young dancers, with a variety of intellectual disabilities and abilities, love to dance and move on Saturdays in Draíocht. Dancers and facilitators, Mark Rogers, Kevin Murphy & Jess Rowell, work together with participants and their parents to explore all types of dance and free movement in two age groups:
Junior Group: 5-9 years
Senior Group: 10-18 years
The response from participants has been overwhelmingly positive and the level of engagement increasingly impressive, as families engage in the arts in a fun, creative and stress-free environment. Running since December 2013, this project is suitable for children aged 5-18 years and pre-booking is essential as places are limited. Please fill in your information below to go on a waiting list and we will be in touch when a space becomes available.
