Vote For Your Favorite Book

The Homewood Public Library is pleased to announce a new initiative to install a mural on the outside wall of the building in the south-facing parking lot. This project aims to enhance our shared space, promote local artistry, and celebrate the role of the library in our community. We are seeking input from patrons and residents regarding some of the titles to be highlighted in the mural.

We received hundreds of nominations from our community members. Your involvement helps celebrate the stories and voices that shape our library, and ensures the mural truly reflects our shared love of reading.

From June 29 – August 9, you can cast your vote to help select some of the titles featured on the mural. Please only vote once.

Due to an overwhelming amount of nominations, the following titles have already secured their place on the mural: Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, and the Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R Tolkien.
