  • What is the Ezra Scholars Scholarship Program?

    The Ezra Scholars Scholarship Program was created to help students get one step closer to their degree. We dedicate a portion of our proceeds to award scholarships of up to $1,000 to students facing financial barriers that threaten their ability to continue their education. These scholarships help clear outstanding balances and account holds that can prevent students from registering for classes, accessing transcripts, transferring institutions, or graduating. Our mission is to remove these obstacles so students can move forward with confidence and graduate with a degree, not just leave with debt.

  • Our Why

    Every year, thousands of students do not return to college because of financial holds placed on their student accounts. These holds can prevent students from registering for classes, transferring schools, or even receiving an official transcript. While many scholarships and grants support tuition and educational expenses, they often do not cover the outstanding fees that keep students from completing their degrees.

  • Application Deadline

    The online application form will close on July 20, 2026 at 11:59pm CST.

  • Eligibility:

    1) Students must be currently enrolled in a four-year degree program at an accredited college/university. 2) Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior. 3) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. 4) Completed at least 18 credit hours (part-time) or 24 credit hours (full-time). 5) Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident. 6) Submit an essay or 90-second video demonstrating their desire to positively impact their community and society. 7) Submit a current resume highlighting your educational background, work experience, leadership experience, volunteer activities, and other relevant accomplishments.

    The Ezra Scholars Scholarship Program awards scholarships of up to $1,000 to cover eligible student related fees that could hinder or delay a student's ability to complete their degree. Students who submit an application certify the information provided on the application is correct to the best of their knowledge. Falsification of information will automatically disqualify a student from receiving any scholarships. By accepting a scholarship award, recipients grant Ezra Coffee permission to share their name, likeness, and scholarship information through media outlets, promotional materials, and the Ezra Coffee website.

    Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient's college or university to satisfy eligible outstanding student related fees.
