    The Scotty D Charities Chantelle Johnson Student Education Program is open to eligible graduating high school seniors in Pasco County who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a commitment to their future educational and career goals. Applicants must meet the specific eligibility requirements for their respective scholarship, including maintaining the required unweighted GPA, completing a minimum of 60 documented volunteer service hours, submitting one letter of recommendation, and providing a personal essay describing their educational aspirations, career objectives, and the experiences that have shaped their journey. Students pursuing higher education, technical training, trade school, or vocational programs are encouraged to apply.
  • Eligibility Requirements

    Applicants must submit:

    • A completed scholarship application.
    • Verification of a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA signed by a school representative.
    • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, school administrator, employer, coach, or community leader.
    • Documentation verifying at least 60 volunteer service hours.
    • An essay (500–1,000 words) addressing:
      • Submit an essay describing the experiences, influences, and aspirations that have shaped your current path in life.
      • Include information about your educational goals, career ambitions, personal dreams, and how you hope to make a positive impact on your community.
