Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Fill out the above form including your contact information and the required questions. Be sure to use the email address associated with your AdoptAClassroom.org account. You’ll also need to have an AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page on AdoptAClassroom.org and have logged in within the last 60 days of the giveaway deadline to be eligible to win.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the 2026 Staples Business + AdoptAClassroom.org Giveaway constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Promotion Period for the 2026 Staples Business + AdoptAClassroom.org Giveaway begins on August 10th, 2026 at 12 AM CT and ends on August 24th at 11:59 PM CT. Entries received before the start time or after the end time will not be considered. No more than one entry per person will be considered eligible.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited PreK-12 public, private or charter school and a legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Teachers must have a classroom fundraising page on AdoptAClassroom.org and must have logged in within the last 60 days of the giveaway deadline to be eligible to win. The page does not need to be public.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted on or around August 25th from among all eligible entries received during the promotion Period to select five Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by emailing them at the email address they used to register with AdoptAClassroom.org. If a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, including any violation of AdoptAClassroom.org’s Terms of Use, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified Winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will randomly select five (5) Prize winners from among all eligible entries who will each be awarded one (1) of the available Prize Packs. Each Prize Pack is an estimated $500 total value and consists of a combination of physical items shipped to the school and a donation to the Winner's AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page. Although Winner preference will be considered, we cannot guarantee which Prize Pack each Winner will receive. Prize Packs consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person per period.
