• Call for Proposals: Thrive2

Understand the Moment. Participation and Civic Confidence. Sustain the Work.
  • Thank you for your interest in contributing to Thrive 2: Democracy Activation Series, hosted by Actionable Innovations Global in partnership with the Charter for Compassion.

Thrive 2 is a free two-part virtual conference on September 10 and September 17, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM Eastern on RingCentral Events.

Day 1 focuses on learning: helping participants understand the moment, explore resources, and choose an action pathway. Day 2 focuses on action: helping participants build plans, troubleshoot challenges, connect with others, and commit to next steps.

We welcome proposals for live sessions, short talks, resource demonstrations, action circles, organization spotlight videos, and resource library contributions. Strong proposals will help participants move from concern to civic action and identify one realistic action they can take within 7–30 days.

    Proposal deadline: August 31, 2026
    Information session: July 8, 2026
Presenter notifications begin: July 15, 2026
Spotlight video deadline: September 4, 2026
Presenter training: September 9 and September 10, 2026
Live conference dates: September 10 and September 17, 2026

  • Participant Pathways and Conference Strand

  • Which participant pathway or pathways is your session designed to support?*
  • Day Preference and Session Type

  • Choose the type of session you are planning to facilitate. Presenters for the Thrive 2 series can lead several types of live and recorded sessions, primarily categorized by their duration and intended interaction level.

Every accepted live session must contribute at least one practical artifact to the Thrive Democracy Action Library, such as a checklist, template, guide, discussion protocol, or action worksheet. A Resource Collection is different: it is a standalone asynchronous contribution for presenters or organizations that want to share a curated set of tools without leading a live session.

  • What type of session are you proposing?*
  • Day 1: Understand + Choose focuses on framing the issue, exploring resources, and helping participants identify a pathway for action.

Day 2: Build + Commit focuses on interactive planning, problem-solving, and building toward a concrete 7–30 day action.
