Are you a high school student in Years 10-12 curious about what a career in finance could look like? Whether you are interested in investment banking, consulting, trading or simply want to know where a degree in business or economics can take you – the FMAA’s Futures in Finance program is for you!
Established in 1990, the FMAA is Australia’s largest student-led finance society, with over 6,000 members across Australia’s top 6 universities. We aim to bridge the gap between university and the professional world of finance, providing students with unique exposure across industries including investment banking, consulting, asset management and professional services.
This inaugural event will give students a firsthand look at the journey from high school to university to industry, featuring an interactive trading simulation, a panel discussion, and an open networking session with experienced student interns exploring careers including investment banking, consulting and trading. Students will also learn about early stage pathways such as cadetships and co-op scholarships, as well as topics including female and STEM student experiences in finance.
