The Radical Collaboration Manifesto's Principles:
- Respect as a discipline: We listen actively and search for what might be true
in perspectives that challenge our own.
- Trust as something we earn: We do what we say, share evidence of progress,
and surface risks early and openly.
- Open communication with purpose: We communicate clearly about
decisions, commitments, and learning so others can build on it.
- Equity, reciprocity, and fair distribution: We make power visible, share
voice and benefits fairly, and ensure those closest to the land help shape
decisions—including how costs, risks, and rewards are allocated across value
chains and landscapes.
- Negotiate interests, not positions: We look beneath demands to
understand needs, constraints, and values—expanding options for fair
agreements.
- Shared accountability: We define roles, track commitments, and distribute
credit fairly—because impact is collective.
- Choosing learning over blame: We treat missteps as data and improve
systems rather than punish people.
