    17:30 to- 19:30
  • Following the overwhelming popularity of past forest bathing walks, we are delighted to offer this restorative experience once again. Join certified Shinrin-yoku practitioner Chanchal Cabrera for a contemplative walk through the qax mot Conservation Area, whose name means “lots of medicine.” Inspired by Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, this silent, slow-paced experience invites participants to slow down, awaken their senses, and spend mindful, immersive time in nature to support health and wellbeing.

Chanchal is a certified Shinrin-yoku practitioner and medical herbalist with over 40 years of experience. She is the former faculty chair of botanical medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and author of Holistic Cancer Care (2023). She teaches, writes, and runs therapy programs on her organic farm in Royston.
