Terms and Conditions
1. All approved details have a four (4) hour show up minimum. If the event concludes prior to the four (4) hour time limit, payment shall be made for four (4) hours to the Deputy and for the cruiser, as applicable.
2. Canellation of a detail requires a minimum, of two (2) hours of notice. To cancel, contact the Sheriff's Office at (330)296-5100, dial "9" and speak with Dispatch.
3. We utilize Detail Kommander, a third-party software and payment platform created specifically for managing law enforcement details, to schedule ALL paid details. Payment is made to the Deputy directly through Detail Kommander. We MUST have a payment method on file to process payment through Detail Kommander.
  - A processing fee will be asssessed by Detail Kommander for ALL transactions.
4. Upon review and acceptance of the request, the Portage County Sheriff's Office will contact the Requesting Party by either phone or email to obtain payment information.
5. It is the sole responsibility of the Requesting Party to report and/or account for any state, federal, social security and/or local taxes.
