I have read and fully understand my financial commitment to the Maryland Icon Athletics outlined in the handbook and below.
I understand that my commitment is for the 2026-2027 competitive season once my athlete is placed on a team. Monthly Tuition and Allstar Fees are due on the first of the month. I have a grace period until the 10th of the month to make the payment. After the grace period, my account will be automatically charged a $35.00 late fee.
I understand that I am strongly encouraged to sign up for the automatic debit system used by Maryland Icon Athletics to collect monthly tuition and all-star fees. I understand that failure to have my monthly fees processed through the automatic debt system will result in an additional administrative money fee of $10.00. I understand that I may request a change to my automatic debit two times per season at no cost.
I understand that if my automatic debit payment returns three times, I will be taken off the system and will be subject to the $10.00 administrative monthly fee. In addition, my payments will be due on the first of each month payable in cash or credit card only. After the tenth of the month, a late fee of $35.00 will be automatically charged to my account.
I understand that if I am fundraising and paying at the gym instead of using the automatic debit system, I WILL be charged the $10.00 administrative fee regardless of whether my account is current, or I carry a balance. Additionally, my payments are still due by the first of the month regardless of whether my fundraising money has come in.
I understand that costs associated with attending Worlds, the Summit, The One, Allstar Worlds, and any other post-season events not on our competition schedule, are NOT included in the Allstar Fees. Parents are responsible for any additional costs to attend these events including, but not limited to covering expenses for coaches, choreography, practice wear etc. I understand that the turnaround time for paying these fees may be short once a bid is received.
I understand if I miss any scheduled payments, my athlete risks the chance of being removed from practice or immediately removed from the Maryland Icon Athletics program. I understand my athlete will NOT be allowed to attend classes, private lessons, attend program functions, receive a uniform, practice wear, warmups, team photos, etc., or purchase items from our Pro Shop if Maryland Icon Athletics accounts become past due.
I understand that I will forfeit ANY monies paid if I choose to leave a team, decline a position, or am asked to leave the program.
I understand that by agreeing for my athlete to commit to any team (elite, prep, and non-travel), they are required to compete at all competitions, both regular and post-season events.
I understand that if my athlete quits or is removed from a team, an inconvenience fee will be assessed: $500.00 after October 1st. I understand that if my athlete quits or is removed from a team after December 1st, an inconvenience fee of $1000 will be assessed and I am responsible for paying the remaining season balance after December 1st. I understand that I will not be refunded any monies paid. This includes but not limited to tuition, Allstar Fees, Worlds Fees, Summit Fees, or any fees associated with awarded events. Any current balance owed on my account will also be due.
I understand that ALL monies paid are non-refundable.
I understand that Maryland Icon Athletics has the right to require payment in Full (entire season) for monies owed for pre-rendered services, uniforms, etc., if there were payment issues in previous years/seasons with Maryland Icon Athletics.
I understand that if my account has a past-due balance, any monies received by Maryland Icon Athletics will be applied to the balance before being applied to post-season competition fees.
I understand that payments for the 2026-2027 will begin on June 1st.
I understand that I am entering into this program of my own free will.
