KRVC LIABILITY RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
I understand that participation in equine activities, livestock activities, clinics, shows, ranch riding, ranch trail, ranch reining, working cow horse, boxing, driving, circling, roping, and related activities involves inherent risks that may result in property damage, injury, illness, permanent disability, or death.
In consideration for being allowed to participate in any Kansas Ranch Versatility Club, Inc. (KRVC) activity, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and presence on the event grounds.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Kansas Ranch Versatility Club, Inc. (KRVC), its officers, directors, board members, volunteers, judges, clinicians, sponsors, affiliates, cattle providers, vendors, event personnel, Price Equine, facility owners, property owners, and all associated representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, or attorney fees arising from my participation, attendance, or presence at any KRVC activity.
I accept full responsibility for my horse(s), equipment, tack, vehicle, trailer, family members, guests, and personal property and agree to indemnify and hold harmless KRVC and all released parties from claims arising from my actions or those of my horse(s), family members, guests, or invitees.
I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary and understand that all related expenses are my responsibility.
I grant permission to KRVC to use photographs and video of me, my horse(s), and my participation for promotional and educational purposes without compensation.
Kansas Equine Activity Liability Warning: Under Kansas law, an equine activity sponsor, equine professional, livestock activity sponsor, livestock professional, and other persons are not liable for injury or death resulting from the inherent risks of equine or livestock activities pursuant to Kansas law.
By checking the acknowledgment box and electronically signing this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Hold Harmless Agreement.
