Responsible Teen Agreement

Participants ages 15 through 18 may be permitted to visit Club Toucan without a parent or guardian present by being deemed a “Trusted Teen”.

By allowing a teen to attend unaccompanied, the parent or guardian acknowledges that Club Toucan does not provide supervision, childcare, or custodial services for individuals. Club Toucan staff are not responsible for monitoring the whereabouts, activities, interactions, or personal safety of unaccompanied teens. Parents and guardians assume full responsibility for their teen while participating in club activities and while entering, exiting, or otherwise being present on the premises. Club Toucan reserves the right to suspend or revoke unaccompanied attendance privileges at its sole discretion.

Community Agreement – Seven Behavior Expectations

1. I will check in upon arrival. I will listen to the staff and follow directions.
2. I will respect:
   • other people’s belongings by not touching/using their stuff without permission
   • all property including Club Toucan’s facilities, structures and equipment
   • other people’s personal space by keeping my hands and feet to myself
   • other people’s feelings by having a positive attitude when talking to them
3. I will act in a caring way, and I will not hit, fight, harm, tease, harass or bully others.
4. I will use my indoor voice when speaking inside.
5. I will use appropriate language, which will not include swear words, negative remarks or inappropriate/irrelevant content.
6. Before leaving a room or program space, I will inform a staff member.
7. I will never leave the location without informing a staff member and signing out.
