We are excited that your child will be starting with us at Glendale American! We are committed to providing an excellent educational experience for our kindergarten and 1st grade students.
To help our youngest Eagles get ready for the new school year, we are offering a **Jumpstart Day** for all incoming kindergarten and 1st grade students entering school for the 2026–2027 school year. Jumpstart will give students an opportunity to meet their teachers, become familiar with the school, and begin building the school routines and skills they will need to be successful.
Research shows that high-quality early learning opportunities can help improve school readiness. Jumpstart is also a great way to help reduce first-day jitters by allowing students to attend early, get comfortable with their classroom, and feel more confident before the first day of school.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity and allow your child to participate. Please see the information below. If your child will be participating, please return the permission slip to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
Your child must be enrolled by **Thursday, July 23, 2026**, in order to participate.
