RULES & GUIDELINES
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

By participating in the Pickle Pit Hideout Tournament, all players agree to abide by the following rules.

👥 Tournament Categories
(24 Slots Per Category Only)

Novice Category(₱550 PER PERSON)
(Men’s, Women's & Mixed)

Beginner's Category(₱650 PER PERSON)
(Men’s, Women's & Mixed)

Advance Beginners (₱750 PER PERSON)
(Men's & Women's)

1. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
- NOVICE DIVISION
  Open to players with no official tournament experience.
  Friendly and casual games are allowed (family events, birthdays, recreational play and palarong panglungsod).
- BEGINNER DIVISION – “NO PODIUM RULE”
  Players must not have finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in any official tournament.
  Friendly, charity, inter-barangay and birthday tournaments are exempted.
- ADVANCE BEGINNER
  Players who have placed on the podium in the Intermediate Category as Champion, 1st Runner-Up, or 2nd Runner-Up, are not eligible to compete in the Advanced Beginners Category.
NOTE:
- If, during the actual game, a player is found to have misrepresented their skill level or intentionally sandbagged despite having previously placed on the podium, they will be subject to disqualification (DQ).
- Players who have already competed in a higher division are no longer allowed to move down to a lower division.
2. PARTICIPANT SCREENING
- All registrations are subject to review and approval by the tournament committee.
- Participants must keep their Facebook profile public or accessible for verification purposes.
- The committee reserves the right to verify eligibility and approve or decline entries.
- Official participant lists will be posted weeks before the tournament for transparency and verification.
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED UPON APPROVAL OF REGISTRATION.

3. PROTEST GUIDELINES
- All protests must be submitted before the tournament begins.
- Supporting proof is required (links, records, screenshots, or results).
- False declarations will result in DISQUALIFICATION with NO REFUND.
4. MATCH FORMAT
- Elimination Round – Race to 11
- Quarterfinals – Race to 11
- Semifinals – Race to 15
- Finals & Battle for 3rd – Race to 15 (Cap at 21)
Note: No podium finishes before August 1, 2026.

5. IMPORTANT REMINDER

ALL ORGANIZER DECISIONS ARE FINAL!

NOTE: Please be honest with your category registration. If you are already a beginner or intermediate player, kindly register under the appropriate category. Participants who have previously received podium awards are also encouraged to disclose this information to the committee for proper screening and placement.

Violation of these rules may result in warning, penalty, or disqualification.
