    421 Arts Campus x FiA Institute for Inclusion and Accessibility

    Khatwa is the first micro residency of its kind in the region, supporting People of Determination in building a professional studio practice.

    What residents receive

    • A dedicated studio workspace at 421 Arts Campus
    • Three mentorship cycles with a matched mentor
    • An AED 5,000 stipend for transport, materials, equipment, production, and other residency-related expenses
    • Support to develop and present a public programme in January 2027

    Programme dates

    • Application deadline : 25 June 2026
    • Orientation at 421 Arts Campus : 2 July 2026
    • Residency period : October to December 2026
    • Open Studios : 16 January 2027
