Standards & Practice Committee - Terms of Reference
Purpose: To annually review and update the Constitution and Bylaws to ensure they comply with the Societies Act, define a high level of professional practice and are uniform and compliant with other major organizations within our membership.

Accountability: Board of Governors

Responsibilities:
1. To review the Societies Act and any new requirements and to periodically consult with Societies Act experts.
2. To annually review existing bylaws.
3. To review the Constitution and Bylaws and to recommend any changes to the Board of Governors that may be required.
Membership: Up to 6 members from the membership with one of its members from the Executive Committee.

Chair: President-Elect

Time involvement: 15 – 20 hours

Frequency of Meetings: As required

Frequency of Reporting: Twice per year

Length of Term: 2 years
